HONGDIAN 1850 Metal Fountain Pen

This seller has the best packaged parcel i have seen. The pen was securely protected by thick layers of bubble wrap. It took me a couple of minutes to remove the pen from its protective cocoon. Kudos to the seller for taking care of the item! The hongdian forest series fountain pens are sleek with excellent nib quality. This one is no exception. Writing experience is smooth and a little bit on the wet side. No hard starts and no skips when tested using ostrich blue-black ink. The pen feels balanced in hand during long writing sessions and quality is good. Definitely a good solid workhorse pen for one’s collection and i added this seller as one of my favorites.

Pen exceeded expectations. Smooth writing and ink flow consistent. I'm ordering another. Also worth mentioning am a left hander and with a good fast drying ink and paper, this fountain pen nib is one of the best i've used
